Gregor Blanco is always ready to step in for the San Francisco Giants. In the past few years, Blanco has entered the regular season as the fourth outfielder. In past offseasons, the Giants have either found another outfielder that is more of an offensive threat, which makes them a stronger candidate for a starting role and moves Blanco to the fourth outfielder role, or the Giants have found someone to platoon with Blanco.

The San Francisco Giants are a few weeks into Spring Training now, and there is a lot to discuss as of now.

In this week’s Giants Mailbag post, we will discuss how the Giants are able to stay loose and play well in high-pressured situations, who the most important Giants player is (besides Madison Bumgarner), and if the Giants will address their lack of power (given Hunter Pence’s injury) by adding Adam Duvall to the 25-man roster heading into Opening Day.
