Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, the Splash Brothers, are currently fighting for a spot on the USA Basketball Men’s National Team roster that will compete in the 2014 FIBA World Cup of Basketball. Training camp for the team started on Monday in Las Vegas.

Klay Thompson Believes He Will Remain a Warrior

According to Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports, Klay Thompson is confident that he’ll be a part of the Golden State Warriors this upcoming season, despite being linked to the Kevin Love trade rumors this offseason.

The Golden State Warriors made a low risk, high reward move today. They’re bringing back former fan favorite Brandon Rush on a two-year deal, and although this sounds like a pretty low-profile move, Rush could have a serious impact on this Warriors team.

In the summer, Las Vegas is the land of opportunity for basketball players who are looking for a spot on an NBA roster or looking for more experience. Dreams can come true in the NBA Summer League.

The Golden State Warriors didn’t have a draft pick this year and there might not be any standout names on their Summer League roster, but one of those fairly unknown players is making a serious push for a spot on the Warriors’ roster for the 2014-2015 season. That player is Justin Holiday.

Steve Kerr has added two more assistant coaches to his coaching staff. Jarron Collins, twin brother of Jason Collins, and Luke Walton, son of Bill Walton, are the most recent additions to the Golden State Warriors coaching staff.
