The Golden State Warriors not only added three more wins this past week, but they also added to their long list of accomplishments by securing home court advantage throughout the playoffs. The Warriors now have a 63-14 record this season, and their 63rd win, which came against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, gave Steve Kerr the most wins by a rookie head coach in NBA history.

The Golden State Warriors have a dilemma. It’s a nice situation to be in, but it’s still a question that needs to be addressed.

The Warriors have already clinched the Pacific Division title, the Western Conference title, and home court advantage throughout the playoffs. Given this information, which is more important for the Warriors heading into the playoffs, maintaining and building on the momentum that they have built recently or resting players?

For an undrafted rookie in the NBA, it can be difficult to earn consistent playing time, and because of that, it can be difficult for a player to gain some confidence and truly establish their game at the NBA level. James Michael McAdoo has experienced this so far in his time with the Golden State Warriors, but he’s shown promise when given a chance.

Stephen Curry is one of the leading candidates in the MVP race. Curry is averaging 23.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 2.1 steals per game on 48.3 percent shooting from the field, 43.4 percent shooting from three-point range, and 91.8 percent free throw shooting. In addition, Curry is the best player on the best team in the NBA, the Golden State Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors have already clinched the Pacific Division title, clinched the Western Conference title, and have broken the franchise record for most wins in a single season. They also still own the best record in the NBA at 61-13.
