The 2015 MLB season has officially begun for the San Francisco Giants, as Spring Training just started with the pitchers and catchers reporting earlier this week.

It seems like just yesterday that the Giants won Game Seven of the World Series in Kansas City and were crowned World Series champions for the third time in five seasons. 2015 is upon us though, so it’s time to look forward to the upcoming season. Let’s start by examining the offense.

Spring Training is finally here! For the San Francisco Giants, pitchers and catchers reported on Wednesday, and the rest of the team will report on Monday the 23rd. Their first Spring Training game is on March 3rd, and Opening Day is on April 6th.

Tim Lincecum has gone from the face of the San Francisco Giants franchise to somewhat of an afterthought in the past few years. Lincecum has struggled with command, consistency, and velocity, and he is now a completely different pitcher than he was back in 2008 and 2009 when he won back-to-back National League Cy Young Awards.
